Terms of Service
Version 1.0 - last updated 18/09/2026
1. Acceptance
By using CayBook you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be 18+ to create an account. Businesses warrant they are validly registered in the Cayman Islands.
3. Bookings
CayBook is a marketplace connecting customers and businesses. Each booking is a direct contract between the customer and the business. CayBook is not a party to the underlying transaction.
4. Cancellations & no-shows
Cancellation policies are set per-business. No-show fees may apply where disclosed.
5. Payments
Prices are shown in KYD unless stated otherwise. CayBook does not currently process payments. Payment is made directly to the business at the time of service, in accordance with that business's own terms and payment methods. CayBook is not a party to the payment transaction and does not hold, transmit, or refund funds. Refunds, deposits, and any related disputes are handled directly between you and the business under its cancellation policy.
5a. CayBook booking fee
A CI$2 CayBook booking fee applies to each confirmed booking. This fee is non-refundable if you cancel, but is fully refunded if the business cancels or cannot honour your booking. The fee is shown separately from the service price before you confirm, and is waived on bookings under CI$10.
6. Acceptable use
You may not: scrape, attempt to bypass security, submit fraudulent reviews, or use the service for unlawful purposes.
7. Reviews
Reviews must be truthful and based on first-hand experience. We may remove reviews that violate these Terms.
8. Intellectual property
CayBook, the logo, and the platform are our property. User content remains yours but you grant us a licence to display it on the platform.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CayBook is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability is capped at KYD 100.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Cayman Islands. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Cayman courts.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified by email.
